As a leader in real estate photography and media, Virtuance is fully equipped and verified to provide the high-end media required to power these specialized listings. However, it is important to understand how the relationship works to ensure your property gets the spotlight it deserves.
The Essentials: Meeting Zillow® Showcase Requirements
To unlock the features of a Zillow® Showcase listing, Zillow requires a specific set of high-quality media assets. Virtuance makes meeting these technical requirements simple. To qualify, your Virtuance order must include:
- At least 10 Professional Images: High-impact photography that captures more attention and drives clicks.
- A Zillow 3D Home® Tour: An immersive digital walkthrough.
- A Zillow Interactive Floor Plan: This is a specific requirement—standard 2D floor plans are not compatible with the Showcase format.
Important: Eligibility vs. Media
While Virtuance provides the professional media needed for the platform, purchasing these services through Virtuance does not automatically guarantee a Zillow® Showcase listing. Zillow® Showcase is a premium subscription service currently available to a limited pool of agents (approximately 10% of users in any given market).
The selection and approval process is handled entirely by Zillow. Virtuance has no control over Showcase eligibility; you must be pre-approved by Zillow to utilize these features.
How to Select Virtuance as Your Zillow® Showcase Photographer
If you are an eligible Zillow® Showcase subscriber, you have the power to choose Virtuance as your professional media provider. Here is how to connect the two:
1. Initiate the Request via Zillow
Once you are ready to move forward, you’ll need to designate Virtuance as your photography partner for your Zillow® Showcase listing. To do so
- Go to your Zillow® Showcase dashboard for your specific listing and click the button to “Get Media”.
- Select “Photography companies you know,” and then select the “Invite photographer” button.
2. Designate Virtuance as your photographer
Next, input Virtuance as your photographer. Use info@virtuance.com as the company email. Once submitted, Zillow will contact us to confirm the selection and finalize the connection.
3. Book your Virtuance shoot
After confirming us as your provider, book your session directly through Virtuance. We will capture your professional images, Zillow 3D Home® Tour, and Interactive Floor Plan.
Then our Quality Assurance team will handle the technical setup—uploading all assets directly to your unique Zillow® Showcase listing link as soon as the order is complete.
Please note: Virtuance cannot upload to a Showcase listing if Virtuance did not capture ALL of the items needed for a Showcase listing.
Is it possible to schedule my shoot first and request Virtuance as my Zillow provider afterward?
Yes! You have flexibility when it comes to the order of operations. You can choose to notify Zillow first, or you can start by booking your shoot directly through Virtuance. Regardless, the process is still the same:
- Request the Upload: Go to your Zillow® Showcase dashboard for that specific listing and click the button to “Get Media”. Then select “Photography companies you know,” and then the “Invite photographer” button.
- Designate Virtuance: Input our email, info@virtuance.com, as your photographer.
If you designate Virtuance after booking your shoot, our team will begin uploading your assets as soon as we are notified—assuming your Virtuance order has already been completed and is ready for upload.
For shoots still in progress, your request will remain pending until your media is published, at which point we will ensure all assets are uploaded.
Seamless Delivery and Management
Virtuance only manages the delivery of the assets we create. While we handle the initial upload, you maintain control over the final presentation. For platform navigation or advanced editing, please refer to your Zillow® Showcase onboarding resources.
- Hiding or Rearranging Images: Once Virtuance delivers your assets, we cannot delete them from the platform. However, you still have control to hide or rearrange photos via Aryeo.
